The Rise of the Airbus A321F and eCommerce

The first A321F started operation on March 15th, 2022, marking a new era for our medium-haul capabilities. A second freighter entered service in October 2022, followed by two additional aircraft in 2023 to meet growing market demands. The twin-engine Airbus A321F is one of the most versatile aircraft in its class; because it can carry standardized containers on the main deck, it offers rapid loading and unloading, which enables highly efficient flight operations. The A321F is specifically designed to offer attractive same-day and eCommerce solutions within Europe and to selected medium-haul destinations. This new network represents a major strategic step toward capturing the fast-growing eCommerce segment, ensuring that "last-mile" logistics are supported by a fast and flexible "middle-mile" air solution.
